An ambitious project, conceived and implemented by several hands, led to the creation of an important new plant: using our new AV Connect remote control system using ELCOS SRL technology, in collaboration with WiseConn Europe they created the automation of the irrigation system for tomato cultivation of the Porto Felloni company.
The installation covers 33.46 hectares in Lagosanto (Ferrara) and includes two already existing motor pumps managed remotely and automatic valves that allow more precise irrigation, based on the data collected by the Sentek probes in the field.
Thanks to this solution, it is possible to improve water management, avoid waste, control the system remotely and respond more promptly to the actual water needs of the tomato, optimizing time, resources and productivity.
