Green Power Systems is responsible for powering the irrigation systems behind the world’s largest dairy plant – part of one of North Africa’s largest agro-industrial projects.
This colossal initiative, which covers 117,000 hectares of desert agricultural land dedicated to feeding 270,000 dairy cows, is part of a project that is expected to cover approximately 50% of Algeria’s national demand for milk powder, marking an important step towards self-sufficiency.
At the heart of the project is a continuous irrigation system designed to cultivate Saharan land, transforming desert landscapes into productive agricultural land. In this critical operation, 50 GP330 S/IA generator sets, supplied by Green Power Systems and powered by FPT CURSOR 13 motors, play a key role in ensuring uninterrupted performance.
In such extreme environments, reliable and continuous feeding is essential. FPT-powered generator sets ensure proper operation, ensuring efficiency, durability and high performance.
